Summand uses per-account pricing on Pro — not per-seat — so $99/month buys unlimited datasets and unlimited questions, not a single user license. Enterprise unlocks database connectors, SSO, audit logs, and unlimited sharing.

Feature comparison

Rate limits are tier-tuned and may change as we calibrate against real usage. Hitting a limit returns 429; current values are visible in the response’s X-RateLimit-* headers.

Enterprise pricing

Enterprise pricing is contract-based — there’s no public price card. Standard packages start at $499/month and scale with seat count, data volume, and add-ons (HIPAA BAA, dedicated infrastructure, extended audit retention). Annual commitments come at a discount, and multi-year commitments at a larger one. Contact sales@summand.com for a quote.

Free tier guardrails

The Free tier has weekly resets — not monthly — to keep evaluation steady rather than encouraging binge-and-churn. Caps reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC.

Education tier eligibility

Education is the same feature set as Pro, free for individuals at academic institutions. To request Education status, sign up with your .edu email and contact support@summand.com — we verify and apply the upgrade. Universities looking for institutional or classroom licenses should reach out to sales.
